Named after Adam Walsh, the 6-year-old abducted and murdered son of John and Revé Walsh, Team Adam is a new resource for law enforcement provided by the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. 

Patterned after the National Transportation Safety Board's system for sending trained specialists to the site of serious transportation incidents, Team Adam does the same thing in serious child-abduction and child-sexual-victimization cases. It is an on-site response and support system that provides assistance to local law-enforcement agencies.
